Our History
ST Institute is a private post-secondary education institution, serving students of all ages who have completed a minimum of a junior high level of education.
ST Institute was founded by Dr. Kai Di and Mr. Alfred Mayerski in 2004 as a massage therapist training school. In 2011, after 7 years in the business, Dr. Kai Di, along with Mrs. Donna Speegle, RN, started the CNA and HHA training programs. Since then, we have successfully trained and supplied quality healthcare professionals all over the state of California.
We follow all regulations put forth by the BPPE and California Department of Education.
Our Facility
ST Institute is a comfortable (2,036 sq. ft.) air-conditioned, one-story modern facility accessible by public transportation. It is located at is 2209 North San Gabriel Blvd., Suite C, Rosemead, CA 91770 where all classes are held. The facility can accommodate a maximum of 20 students at one time.
The facility consists of combined lecture/lab rooms, workshop areas, administrative offices, a student and a faculty lounge. The school, the facility it occupies, and the equipment it utilizes fully comply with any and all federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances; this includes those requirements as to fire safety, building safety and health regulations.
Our Mission, Vision, and Core Values
The mission of ST Institute is to provide our students, who seek to explore and develop career skills and experience, with learning and training opportunities so as to help them reach their goals either for a career or for personal enhancement.
The unifying theme of all our programs is Maslow’s hierarchy of needs: physiological, safety and protection, love and belonging, self-esteem, and self-actualization. The additional organizing principles of care, critical thinking/problem solving, team building, ethics, and cultural sensitivity have also been integrated into the programs.
